Representations of Heroes and Villains in action/crime films -

"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" - Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit - 1988)

This essay will examine the generic stereotypes, storylines and characteristics along with exploration of existing heroes and villains in action/crime films, researching into what it takes for a character to receive their title. This essay will also show an insight into central heroes and villains, or a protagonist and an antagonist showing how they are binary opposites around who the entire narrative is based on. As this quote above shows, heroes and villains are represented through a persons perspective.
